There is a kind of space most of us do not get very often. One where you do not have to perform or show up any way other than as you are. This was created to be that space. A place to slow down, settle into yourself, and connect in a way that feels real.

If this resonates with you, we would love to have you there.

Share this with someone you would want to experience this with 🤍

Spring is bringing some beautiful shifts to The Cozy Corner 🌿🤎

We’re welcoming new therapists into the Cozy Crew, each bringing their own unique energy, specialties, and heart into this space. From creative and expressive work, to identity exploration, to perinatal and trauma support, our team is growing in such intentional ways.

At the same time, we’re holding gratitude for the people who helped shape this corner into what it is today. Christina, thank you for your words, your presence, and the care you poured into this space. You’ll always be part of the story here 🤍

And we’re so excited to introduce Arielle, our new blog writer, whose work centers connection, grief, and what it means to be human in the most honest way!

Growth, transitions, and new beginnings all at once
and we’re so grateful you’re here with us through it all

Welcome to the next chapter of The Cozy Corner ✨

An opportunity for connection, community and overall bringing fun to the things that matter. Thank you / for inviting us to Fit & Fun for Everyone 🤍

Our interactive activity included a bouquet bookmark; a bookmark where you build your own bouquet. A memory and a keepsake that we can do hard things and we all deserve our flowers. 💐

Thank you to Jeremy and Courtney for the hard work you do with your clients and the care you bring to the practice. As someone wise once wrote, “Every small victory counts.” 🤍

You look like you have it together. You show up. You get things done. You take care of everyone else. You keep pushing forward.

From the outside it looks like strength but inside it can feel like constant pressure. High functioning anxiety and stress often hide behind productivity. People who experience this are often the ones others rely on. The dependable one. The helper. The person who keeps things moving. But the nervous system is still working overtime.

Your brain stays in a constant state of scanning and problem solving. You overthink conversations. You replay decisions. You stay busy because slowing down can make the thoughts louder.

So instead of collapsing, many people cope by doing more.
More working. More planning. More saying yes. More carrying. It can look like success while quietly draining your energy.

Over time this kind of constant activation can lead to emotional exhaustion, irritability, difficulty relaxing, and feeling disconnected from yourself. You do not have to completely fall apart for your stress to matter.

You do not have to hit burnout before you deserve support.
Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is pause long enough to ask yourself a simple question:

How am I actually doing?

If you are the one who is always holding everything together, you deserve spaces where you do not have to.
You deserve support before the crash. 🤍

“We cannot succeed when half of us are held back.” — Malala Yousafzai

Happy Women’s History & Empowerment Month! Mental health access, emotional safety, and equal opportunity matter. This month, we recognize the women who paved the way and we continue advocating for spaces where women can grow, lead, and heal freely.

By the time many couples reach out, they’re exhausted. Not because love is gone. But because the same conflict keeps replaying and nothing seems to shift.

In therapy, we often discover that the issue isn’t one partner being “too much” or the other being “not enough.” It’s the cycle they get pulled into when emotions run high.

When we slow the pattern down, something important happens. Blame softens. Understanding grows. And change becomes possible.

Tired doesn’t mean too late.

Exciting news…we moved! 🤍 For those close to us and our clients, the move has been something in the work for a few months. We celebrated yesterday afternoon with some family, friends & close ones to celebrate not only our growth but to the people who have made us who we are.

We did a little art activity and their pieces will be hung around the office to showcase a little piece of them that makes the heart of The Cozy Corner. So if you see one, just know it’s filled with love ❤️

From :
“To my family (including my in-laws), thank you for always supporting my goals and helping me reach my vision even as a mom. Your support shows that women, including mothers, can make incredible spaces, and this practice is the foundation of doing so.

To my mom - thank you for trusting my vision and for showing me a different way of being a woman than what was shown to you. That women can be loud, take up space, and my voice matters. That I matter.

To my husband - thank you for all the 2am rants and brainstormings creating the practice, the whirlwind of transitioning into being a business owner and for being an amazing husband and father. I love you tremendously.

And to my friends - you’re the bonus. You show up without any ties or reasonings aside from wanting to see me and my dream succeed. You lift me up, you empower me, and you are part of the backbone of why this exists. Thank you for being some of the firsts to believe in me and The Cozy Corner.” 🤍

Political uncertainty has a way of seeping into our bodies, our relationships, and our sense of safety, even when we’re doing our best to stay informed, grounded, or hopeful.

In this piece, Christina Bubba writes a poem to her brother in Harlem, NY while she’s away and reflects on what it’s like to live with uncertainty while still holding gratitude and love for life. Both can exist at the same time.

If you’ve noticed more tension, fatigue, or emotional heaviness lately, you’re not imagining it. These moments affect us deeply, even when they don’t always have words.

You’re allowed to protect your peace, stay connected to what matters, and move gently through this season.
