Effective June 1, 2021 Policy change - Vaccination required
For the safety of our elderly and immunocompromised cancer patients and our staff, proof of vaccination will be required for you to be seen if it's not already documented in your records. (A photo in your phone or copy of card is fine.) If you aren't vaccinated your appointment can be rescheduled after your series is complete (dates depend on which manufacturer).

Masks are required. If you have traveled, there is a 7 day waiting period.

We will still be limiting the number of patients inside at the same time. Thank you for helping us continue to serve a vulnerable population.

I am getting really frustrated having to try to convince friends and patients of the value of vaccinations for Covip-19. Vaccinations promise an end to the coronavirus pandemic in the US. This has been an interesting few week and almost led me to close my office and retire. We had a patient come in the office and complete the questionnaire and “by-pass” our screening procedures, lying to us about his exposure to the COVID-19 virus. Now we are finding out that this new Coronavirus variant is being found in many states as well as in England. Wow! What does all this mean and the larger question- are the vaccines already being given active against this variant? This after I just received my first dose of the Mederna vaccine. I have rewritten this post about 15 times but finally decided with the approval of the Pfizer vaccine for emergency use that I needed to answer a number of questions. So, here we go.
