Brittany really focuses on presence over stillness.
Because the hardest part isn’t slowing down… it’s the presence it takes to sit with yourself. ✨

The room shifts when she’s leading, softer, quieter, more intentional.

Through breath, stillness, and subtle awareness, she creates a space where you can actually hear yourself again.

You feel it in the pauses, the exhales, and the way you leave a little more grounded than when you walked in.

⚪ A: Pressure breathing- full inhale, pulsed exhale
 
⚫ Q: What does movement mean to you personally?
⚪ A: Movement is connection on many levels. It’s a way into the body, it’s a way into the breath. I come back to, it’s not about getting the body into pose or move but how you use a pose/move to get into the body.
 
⚫ Q: What makes The Void community special?
⚪ A: The Void is a place you can come and be yourself, build yourself, and maybe even rethink what’s possible.
 
⚫ Q: What’s something clients would be surprised to learn about you?
⚪ A: I’m shy, no but seriously.

⚪ A: Breathing, morning sun, and self massage usually with facial balls, roller, blocks.

We had the honor to meet up & run with as he passed through Easton on his cross-country run.

What he’s doing goes far beyond miles.

It’s about something selfless.

A mission rooted in mental health, in loss, in the feeling of being unseen… and the reminder that you’re not.

Meet Carissa 🔥 Pilates Instructor

Bright energy, big smile, and the kind of presence that makes you feel welcome the second you walk in.

Carissa brings a fresh spark to the room, uplifting, encouraging, and fully locked in with her class. Her energy is contagious in the best way, helping you settle in, work hard, and actually enjoy it while you’re there.

⚫ Q: What is your theme song right now?
⚪ A: Holla at me - Raphaella or Fair Trade by Drake

⚫ Q: What is one movement you love teaching?
⚪ A: Pilates push up into a b***y banded series or anything that challenges your balance!

⚫ Q: What does movement mean to you personally?
⚪ A: Movement is medicine - coming from a dance background i have always used movement as my outlet. Whether it be to release or work through life at different stages, the ability to move has been one I never take for granted. My mental health most especially relies on me getting up and moving in some way.

⚫ Q: What makes The Void community special?
⚪ A: The void has portal energy!! What makes the community special is how everyone shows up for themselves! It’s amazing when you really think about how many different types of people having different types of days, different background and ages all coming together to work on themselves for one hour out of the day. Before I was an instructor & I was on my mat taking class I always paid attention to the energy field around me. Truly, I believe that I was able to find magic and manifest being at the front of the room just off the inspiration I felt. Really truly, magical.

⚫ Q: What’s something clients would be surprised to learn about you?
⚪ A: My family and I dream of living in Arizona! While the Lehigh Valley will always be home, Arizona calls our name! (We have no set plans to leave anytime soon, don’t worry!)

⚫ Q: What is your favorite recovery ritual?
⚪ A: Having my husband Justin roll out my calf muscles, even if I squirm and say no no no the whole time 🥹
