Job Overview

Duties
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer devices
Monitor and record vital signs accurately using medical documentation systems.
Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support
Qualifications
Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) recognized by state licensing boards
Experience working in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health settings
Experience providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is preferred
Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina including lifting with Hoyer lifts or assisting with mobility
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and interact compassionately with patients from varied backgrounds
