Spread the word! Tuesday at 9am San Juan County is releasing a very large batch of COVID vaccine appointments to anyone 18 and over. The Orcas clinic will be held on April 27 at the Orcas Center.

If you received your first dose vaccination from Orcas Family Health Center staff on March 19, 20, or 26, please contact us via the link below to update us with your email address. We are scheduling two second dose clinics to provide second doses to our March vaccine recipients. Sorry, we are unable to schedule any first dose patients.

An update: This week we are open on a very limited basis as most of our staff is now over at the new Island Primary Care-Orcas clinic (opening next week). For the most part we are recommending patients contact the new clinic (360-376-2561) for their medical needs (and of course EMS for emergencies!)

We will remain open over the course of the next few weeks to help ease the transition to a single clinic on Orcas Island. Existing patients are welcome to call our office (360-376-7778) but please know that we are unable to perform most tests, X-rays, vaccinations, or routine appointments.

Again for most matters we recommend folks transfer care to Island Primary Care or another provider. Our patients will need to authorize us to transfer their records. We have forms to transfer medical records on our website and in our office.

The community COVID testing program is on hold. We understand that Island Primary Care will likely be restarting the program in April. Likewise our vaccination program is on hold and may not restart before we cease operations. Again, we expect Island Primary Care to be starting their own vaccine program in the coming weeks. Ray’s Pharmacy and the County are also holding vaccine clinics.

We will be holding a COVID vaccine clinic this coming Saturday, the 27th, at the Orcas Center. We have 200 doses of the Moderna vaccine available for this clinic.

To schedule for this clinic, we're using a new online scheduling tool, which will launch on Tuesday, the 23rd, at 5pm. This is a first dose clinic, by online appointment only. It is open to any eligible individuals. Follow the link for more details.

For eligible individuals on our waitlist, we will attempt to call you tomorrow to schedule you for an additional mini clinic on Friday. We have enough doses for all the eligible folks on our waitlist.
