Yesterday I sat up in my little attic studio and listened to the wind whip around the farmhouse. Even the bouquet of flowers on my desk trembled as the wind shook the walls.

It is March.

In like a lion, out like a lamb.
The Spring Equinox.
Rain, wind, snow, sunshine.

The air smells different.
The earth is warming.
We begin to dream again.

We’re in that in-between space right now — the final days of Pisces, just before Aries arrives with fire, movement, and new beginnings.

The winds have been strong lately.

They're clearing. They're carrying seeds we can't even see.
Shaking loose what isn’t stable.
Carrying away what’s no longer rooted.

It can feel chaotic, but it’s purposeful.

This is a threshold moment.

What is no longer strong enough may need to go.
What is ready to begin again is quietly gathering beneath the surface.

The ground softens before it blooms.
So do we.

As we move into Aries season and the Spring Equinox, everything begins to shift toward action and initiative. We start to-do lists in our minds and jot them on paper. We're ready to begin again.

As we begin hosting more retreats here at the farm, we’re building a list of food options we can share with our facilitators for breakfasts, lunches, and simple dinners.

Imbolc & Leo Snow Moon. The stirrings of the dream, the return to the heart, the yearning for authenticity, realness, joy and pleasure.

At the halfway point between the winter solstice and spring equinox, Leo reminds us that if we aren’t operating from our heart, what are we doing? Leo asks us to be in our power, our sovereignty, remembering the gift that life is.

Our lesson is to embody our true essence and remember our needs, desires, our childlike spirit and sense of play, and the magic of how we create and bring our gifts to the world.
