Direct access allows any athlete to be evaluated by one of our physical therapists without requiring a prescription from a medical doctor. In this video, Kevin is demonstrating some of the evaluation tools that we use when assessing athletes at various stages of their rehab to ensure they are ready to get back on the court, field, track, etc without risk of injury.

Examples of these tests are listed below, some of which you see in the video:
1. single leg bridge test
2. plank and side plank endurance test
3. squat test
4. single leg squat test
5. Y-balance
6. single leg hop for distance
7. triple leg hop for distance
8. crossover hop for distance

We don't just preach rest and recovery - we put it into action before you leave the clinic. Icing the affected area before you leave your session is just as important as the work you put in during the hour with us. If we suggest it and you can, stick around for a few minutes for that little piece of recovery and continue to do it at home with your exercises.
