Mount St. Joseph University Speech Therapy program researched local non-profit organizations to support needs through a low tech project. Triangle Therapy Association (TTA) was one of these organizations. This group of future STs created adapted books for therapists to utilize with clients at TTS. Collectively, the cohort selected TTA as one of the non-profits to receive a $1000 donation. Thank you!

The purpose of our study, "An Analysis of Parental Play Tolerance," is to examine play tolerance among parents of four-year-old children and the factors that influence it. We are looking for participants who are over 18 and are the parent/guardian of a child who is currently four years old (or has been within the past year).

If you are an energetic, independent worker who is looking for a place that appreciates excellent staff and values quality evaluation and treatment…then you may be the speech therapist for this part-time position. Triangle Therapy Services, LLC, values relationships and supports excellence in quality treatment in a fun environment. We are a small pediatric therapy practice providing OT, PT, ST in a non-traditional setting, which incorporates animal assisted therapy and nature into traditional therapy. Our offices are in a barn with finished office/treatment space. Access to open spaces is endless, both in the barn and on 20 acres of land, for your creative use. We strive for a good balance of work, rest, and play to keep us a positive and well-balanced team. We look forward to adding the right person to this fun-loving and dedicated staff. We value family and allow each therapist to create a schedule that works for their family.

This Pediatric Speech Therapy position offers a competitive hourly rate. (Subcontracts considered)

Job Type:
● 2 Days per Week (~16 hours depending upon your needs) with an opportunity to expand hours/days in the future. .
● Year-round treatment, with approximately 4-6 weeks unpaid time off throughout the year (with potential for being negotiable depending on your needs). No medical benefits offered.
● Preference given to someone interested in a long-term commitment.
● Required education: Master’s degree

Required experience:
● Speech Therapist: 1 year, preferably in pediatrics (new grads considered)
● Pediatric experience (infant - 21 years): strong preference for work with speech apraxia, autism-related speech disorders, speech sound/articulation disorder, fluency disorders, language disorders, and social communication disorders.
● Computer skills for EMR.

Required license or certification:
● Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio
● ASHA certified
● CPR/First Aid
● Background check
● Bonus: Certification in Ohio schools

Physical/Emotional Requirements:
● Frequent lifting 10-20 pounds, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
● Ability to walk/run up to ½ -1 mile for accessing the outdoor environment
● Tolerance of temperature changes during the seasons.
● Enjoyment of animals and the natural environment.
