With each year I become more grounded,
As my soul becomes more free,
I've grown roots that keep me stable,
I'm finally enjoying being me.

Life is now rich with simplicity,
I avoid the drama that some may bring,
I'm happy in my own company,
My heart has learned how to sing.

In each new silver hair I rejoice,
Aging is a blessing, some never know,
My journey has brought me so far,
And hopefully, still, some way to go.

I cherish each precious moment,
The laughter shared, the silent peace,
In every chapter, I now stand stoic,
With wisdom my worries cease.

So here's to the years that shape and mold,
With knowledge gained and stories to tell,
I embrace the path that I have walked,
In this seasoned body, I'm happy to dwell ..

Carrying Our Loved Ones Within

We carry our loved ones
in the quiet corners of our days,
in the echo of a laugh,
the warmth of a touch,
the gentle guidance they once offered.

We honor them in the life we live,
in acts of kindness,
in passions pursued,
in values held close.

Grief and love intertwine,
and in that weaving,
their spirit becomes part of us,
a steady light,
a quiet, steadfast strength.

Even in our choices,
their wisdom guides us,
a subtle compass pointing the way.

To carry our loved ones within is to honor them,
to let their essence move through us,
shaping the rhythm of our days,
reminding us that love endures,
even beyond presence.

Whispers of the Ancients

The wind carries voices, soft yet strong,
Ancestral echoes, an endless song.
Through silent forests, their wisdom flows,
In stillness deep, the Great Spirit knows.
The fire dances, the river sighs,
Dreamcatchers gleam beneath the skies.
Each feather tells where spirits roam,
Each heartbeat leads the soul back home.
Listen, child, to the earth’s embrace,
Her timeless rhythm, her sacred grace.
For in the circle, all hearts align—
The voice of the sacred is yours, is mine.
