Shoveling heavy snow can be tough on your spine—but a few smart moves can keep you safe:

💪 Warm up first – March, stretch, and loosen muscles before lifting.
🛠️ Use the right shovel – Lightweight or ergonomic shovels make a huge difference.
🦵 Lift with your legs, not your back – Bend your knees, keep the shovel close, and engage your core.
↩️ Avoid twisting – Turn your feet, not your spine, when throwing snow.
📏 Take smaller loads – Move manageable amounts to reduce strain.
🔄 Alternate sides – Protect your spine and prevent muscle imbalances.
⏸️ Take breaks – Rest every 10–15 minutes; listen to your body.
🧤 Dress smart – Layer up and wear boots with good traction.
