Balance and body awareness play an important role in how we control movement .

Proprioception is the system that helps your brain understand where your body is in space. When this system is well trained, athletes may be better able to adjust to unexpected movement or contact .

Exercises that challenge balance and proprioception include: single leg balance, partner balance challenge, stability, drills, and movement training on varied surfaces .

Training these systems help improve coordination and control.

In sport and daily movement, your brain must rapidly process information and coordinate the body's response. Improving reaction speed may help athletes better prepare for unexpected movement or contact .

Examples of reaction-based training include:
✅ Light readtion drills
✅ Ball drop reaction
✅ Partnered hand slap
✅ Decision-based agility drills

These exercises challenge the brain, vision, and body to work together .
