Each month, residents will enjoy the Port of Call program. This program focuses on creating activities for the residents to learn about different countries, cities, or locations. This month, the theme is the Antarctic Peninsula! 🐧

The Antarctic Peninsula is an ice-covered, mountainous peninsula that rests alongside Marguerite Bay and Bransfield Strait. The wildlife on the Antarctic Peninsula is amazingly diverse, with researchers finding so many variations of the same species. For example, there are 18 different types of emperor penguins that live amongst the wildlife of Antarctica.

Residents had a cheesy good time celebrating National Cheese Pizza Day! Every month, the residents make homemade bread but this time we decided to put a special twist on it by turning our fresh, homemade dough into delicious pizza bread! Residents helped prepare from making the dough to adding sauce, pepperoni, and plenty of melty cheese to create the perfect bite. The smell alone had everyone smiling and the taste did not disappoint! Another fun way we bring creativity into our monthly baking tradition.
