Wow! This would have been great as a student. Definitely better than the cabbage patch dolls we learned on!

Radiologic technology students at National Park College in Arkansas are getting a more realistic experience when learning to image infants. The program received a grant to purchase an infant/pediatric x-ray manikin that has synthetic bones and anatomy that can withstand radiation.

ASRT member Carla Kelley M.Ed., B.S.R.T., (R)(M), professor and program director of the radiologic technology program said in a recent interview, "The reason that this little manikin is so important is to give the students hands-on experience prior to going to clinical."
