As we reflect on a busy and exciting year, we want to pause and thank our customers for allowing us to serve as your trusted partner in caring for hearing, balance, and PT rehabilitation patients. Thank you for all you do to support these patients and improve their quality of life. Interacoustics US office will be closed November 27 - 28 in observance of the holiday. Regular hours will resume on Monday, December 1.

Shout-out to the e3 Diagnostics technicians that visited us in Minneapolis this week to train on repair and maintenance of Orion rotary chairs! Training included an overview of the device function from Cammy Bahner, Au.D, to provide a baseline for normal operation. Our in-house techs then led them through discussions and hands-training covering repair strategies and troubleshooting. They were an attentive group and made for fun sessions.

Our Advanced Evoked Potentials Practical Workshop was a great success this week! Clinicians from far and near gathered in Minnesota for a 2-day, hands-on course to enhance their skills in performing accurate assessments in both pediatric and adult populations.

There is still time to register for “From Symptoms to Solutions: A Clinical Case Approach to Vestibular Testing,” a 2-day, in-person course featuring Devin L. McCaslin, Ph.D. Hurry. Registration closes September 16.

Cases include both peripheral and central vestibular disorders. Participants will be led in lively, interactive discussions on which test(s) are the most effective and efficient in determining the correct diagnosis and how to provide the best management options for the patient.

It is day 2 of “Vestibular Diagnostics: A Clinical and Practical Workshop.” Presenters Michelle Petrak, Cammy Bahner, Darren Whelan, and Elizabeth Fuemmeler shared their clinical expertise and practical know-how on how to use a wide variety of diagnostic tools used in evaluating and treating patients with vestibular disfunction. The course is sponsored by Interacoustics US and Interacoustics Academy and took place in Eden Prairie, MN. Last day is tomorrow.
