Today we are celebrating Miss Halle! π©πΌβπ
Halle has worked so hard during her vision therapy program and we are so proud of her!
Hereβs what her mom has to say about their experience here at MVTC:
βAs we are wrapping up her therapy we have seen a significant improvement in her reading skills. When she entered 2nd grade she was reading at a first grade level she is now reading at a 3rd grade reading level. She no longer has double vision and her eyes are now working together! The first time she saw in 3D we were all so excited. Prior to therapy reading was torture for her and us parents and many tears were shed, now she likes to read and gets excited about books. We are so proud of her!
We were referred to vision therapy by her eye doctor. Halleβs left eye rolled out to the side but more notable Halle really struggled to read. She knew sight words and could easily do flash cards but when the words were placed together on a page she couldnβt read them. After her assessment at MN vision therapy we learned her left eye and brain were not working together at all and she had major deficits across the board in her vision. We decided to try vision therapy to improve her future and help lessen her struggles as school. The changes have been amazing!β
