There’s a lot going on over here! 🦺 🚧 Construction started this week on our renovation and expansion. Currently, crews are working to push back and replace the retaining wall in our parking lot, (adding a few extra parking spaces and more room to pull in and out) and demolition began on our backyard/sheds.
At this moment, our parking lot is closed until the retaining wall is finished. Hopefully by mid to late next week. There is plenty of street parking on the side and front of our building. Call us if you have questions or concerns!!

We have some exciting news to share! We are expanding our facility with over 1,000 square feet of new space and renovating our existing building to better serve you and your pets.

Construction will begin in the next few weeks, and here’s what you can expect during this time:

Phase 1: We will build the new addition at the back of the building while continuing to see patients in the front, so your visits can proceed as usual.

Phase 2: Once the addition is complete, we will move operations to the new space while renovating the existing building. During this time, there may be occasions when you’ll need to enter through the back entrance. We will provide clear signage and send updates whenever changes occur.

There may be some construction noise during the next few months. We will do our best to minimize disruptions and ensure a comfortable experience for you and your pets. New parking spaces are being added at the back, and access to our current lot will remain available throughout the construction.

We appreciate your patience during this exciting transition and look forward to welcoming you to our improved facility. If you have any questions, please contact our team.

Our Story

Serving the Twin Cities Since 1984

For over a quarter century, our veterinarians and staff have formed lasting relationships with clients across the Southwest metro and outlying communities. We provide full-service pet care, from wellness exams and routine surgeries -- such as spays and neuters -- to emergency and advanced, soft-tissue or orthopedic surgical procedures in dogs, cats, ferrets and other exotic mammals.

We are equipped to take on almost any dental procedure, even in compromised patients. We maintain a working relationship with many veterinary specialists across the Twin Cities so we can do what's best for you and your pet.

At PVPH we try to prevent medical problems from progressing into overnight emergencies. We accomplish this mission by offering extended hours on Monday and Thursday evenings, as well as Saturday mornings. While we prefer appointments, PVPH accepts walk-in visits, too. We prioritize patients according to need, and if we face a true emergency, address it immediately. We work-in emergency clients around scheduled appointments -- often in less than 15 minutes.
