We provide residential treatment services exclusively for the LGBTQ community. The Pride Institute is proud to be a member of Foundations Recovery Network.

Providing substance abuse treatment and mental health services in a residential setting, exclusively for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Physicians are on the medical staff of Pride Insittute, but, with limited exceptions, are independent practitioners who are not employees or agents of Pride Insitute. The facility shall not be liable for actions or treatments provided by physicians. Model representations of real patients are shown. We are unable to provide medical advice through social media. We want to give a huge welcome to our new counselor Kristine at our facility in Eden Prairie.

Kristine is excited to join the team at Pride in her role as a counselor. She is an ally to the LBGTQ+ community and aligns with the person-centered approach of care, values and authenticity that Pride provides. She is passionate about helping others on their recovery journeys and is looking forward to being able to support clients in their time at residential.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, anything fitness- specifically indoor cycle, painting, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Trans people have been around since the beginnings of civilizations going back to the priests in Ancient Sumer in 5000 BCE, or modern day South-Central Iraq. The history of the trans community is rich and continues to grow. This next week, we honor our trans brothers and sisters during National Trans Awareness Week. We love our trans family, and we honor their presence in society.
