It’s almost time. 🙏🏼 The preparation is intentional. Prayer and meditation integrated. Curated with purpose. In 19 days, a group of 12, venture across the world. What was once something I considered a bucket list destination, is a place that I will now visit for my second time. And this second time is truly uplifting knowing I’ll be in the company of these other women. Women seeking adventure and watching them experience the culture and the spirit that is Bali. I hope to bring many more groups over to experience firsthand just how much this Island can teach your soul.

🕉️You may start to notice my work showing up under a slightly different name. Dunamis Adventures for the Soul is evolving into Kristin Marie -- a clearer home for all the ways I share my work: watercolor art, being a yoga student, and destination + local retreats. The heart of Dunamis remains the same; it now lives within a larger, more personal container. This is a natural evolution, inviting a return to self--rooted in presence, beauty, and lived experience.

I am not changing 'brands', but instead bringing you closer. The depth and soul remains, retreats are not going away, and I remain true to myself!

I am grateful to continue the opportunity to create spaces where art, movement, and soulful exploration meet. Through creative practice, yoga, and retreats, I will continue to guide others deeper into their presence, embodied wisdom, and a more connected way of living.

It’s been 7+ months since I’ve posted anything under this account. There are a handful of solid reasons, but really they are mostly excuses. In reality, I needed a break from talking about mental health to address and focus on my own and my families, to be “in” the present for us all. After this hiatus, I’m in a much better place life-wise to open my heart and time back up to supporting others.

I plan to still offer limited space peer support in the form of virtual coaching, but plan to focus mostly on creating retreats and group healing, mentorship, and empowerment opportunities for women and teens.

The nurturing & serving facet of my soul still craves that connection, aside from with family and friends.

Stay tuned as I slowly find my way back in to this space through articles I author on Substack, hosted events, and thoughts influenced by life lessons (whether my own personal lessons or via others).

As someone who cares deeply about protecting clients, I need to speak about the client protections involved with choosing the right life coach or any coach that works with any of your health information and possible identifiers of who you are. With so many “coaches” out there and the ability for anyone to market themselves as one, you need to advocate and protect yourself! I say “coaches” in quotations because many don’t have the recognized credentials of a certification or licensure board that preserves client rights and the protects client personal information. Life experience sharing is greatly beneficial, when the clients protected health information (PHI) is properly protected.

MOST “coaches” do not use HIPAA compliant virtual calling features, texting apps, etc. some apps used that are not HIPAA compliant include:

📱VOXER

📱Zoom (unless the coach uses Zoom for Healthcare and has signed a Business Associate Agreement)

📱WhatsApp

📱Google Meet (free version)

To achieve HIPAA compliance, these platforms often require specific healthcare plans or business associate agreements (BAAs) to be signed with the coach, ensuring proper data protection and privacy measures are in place.

End-to-end encryption is NOT the same as HIPAA and PHI compliant! Protect yourself and ask the coach how they are protecting your very sensitive and personal information. There are apps out there that coaches can use that are HIPAA compliant. Many just simply do not know they are required by law, to protect a clients personal health information when shared.

Protect and advocate for yourself. Your personal health information is yours and yours alone. YOU decide who you’re willing to work with and at what risk.
