Vision Therapy at Home is a highly successful way for children and adults to strengthen their visual skills in a home setting in order to reduce symptomatic problems associated with poorly developed visual skills. The VT @ Home program uses effective exercises and activities that will optimize overall visual performance and alleviate symptoms of visual dysfunction, such as poor reading and comprehension, frequent loss of place when reading, reversal of letters, words, and numbers, poor attention and concentration, and is available in two different formats: online or hard copy with DVDs.

Did you know spelling is a visual skill? 🧐

Take a look at these words, what do you notice? Cycle, psychiatrist, silo

The beginning of all three of these words sound the same (sai) but look very different.

You have to be able to visualize the word and picture what it looks like in order to spell it correctly.

You can’t always rely on phonics - the word phonetic isn’t even phonetic! If you spelled it phonetically is would be foniks! 🤯
