My students often ask me "What do you do with all the negative information that pours in daily through the news and through daily conversations with people?"

Newspapers and television carry a lot of negative information. However, they also cover good information. I listen to WCCO radio every morning when I’m driving to work or home. They have a segment called “Good Neighbor for the Day.” That is good news, so I focus on those things.

It’s a matter of your focus. First of all, the negativity of the situation is up to how you look at it. For instance, on the news you may see there is a bomb here and there is an accident there. It just reminds you this world is not that peaceful, and you need to send more love to these people. Breathe deeply and know these things are happening every day.

That’s why this world needs more peace and more love and more Qigong.

If you think that way, immediately you turn the negative energy into something positive and healing. You send a lot of love and healing.

People tend to focus more on the negative things that they fear deep in their hearts. If you let go of fear and focus on the good things you have, you actually gain more protection and more security.

If you constantly think about those negative things- the fears in your heart- your Qi will attract that kind of energy towards you, and it’s not healthy. Focus on the good things and smile, smile, smile!

Hello, my dear friends,

Today I want to share a simple yet powerful tip for staying balanced and healthy as the seasons change.

👉 Spend time outside every day.

Make time in every season to feel the fresh air and sunlight on your body. Even a short walk outside allows your body to reconnect with the natural energy around you.

In Spring Forest Qigong, we understand that your body constantly communicates with the energy of the world around it. When you step outside and allow your body to experience the changing air, sunlight, and temperature, your energy system begins to align naturally with the rhythm of nature.

This helps your body stay in greater harmony, balance, and health.

Of course, remember to dress appropriately for the season. As the weather changes, adjust gradually—don’t rush into summer clothes or winter coats too soon.

👉 Observe what nature is doing.

Nature is always teaching us how to live in balance.

In spring, animals become more active and trees begin to grow new branches and leaves. This is a time when energy rises and life begins to move again.

In summer, when the days are long and sunlight is strong, nature is vibrant and active. Animals move more, plants grow quickly, and life energy is abundant.

When we follow these natural seasonal rhythms, our bodies can adapt more easily and maintain strong Qi flow, vitality, and well-being.

Take a moment today to step outside, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the energy of nature.

Many Blessings,
Chunyi Lin

Did You Know Happiness Supports Your Liver Health? 😊✨

Hello, my dear friends,

In Spring Forest Qigong, we understand that everything is energy—including our emotions.

When you experience happiness, your body responds in powerful ways. Happiness often comes from simple material experiences in life. For example, when someone gives you a piece of chocolate, you feel joy because your emotions connect with that experience.

That feeling of happiness directly supports your liver energy.

In Traditional Chinese understanding, the liver is the ocean of blood. When your blood is healthy and purified, energy can flow smoothly throughout the body, nourishing your organs and supporting overall vitality.

This is why positive emotions like happiness are so beneficial for your liver and your Qi flow.

Sometimes healing can be as simple as appreciating the small moments in life—
a kind gesture, a delicious treat, a beautiful day, or a peaceful moment.

✨ These little sparks of happiness help your energy flow and support your health from the inside out.

So today, take a moment to savor the simple things that bring you joy. Your body will thank you.

Many Blessings,
Chunyi Lin

Hello, my dear friends,

Today I want to share a simple yet powerful tip for staying healthy and in harmony with the changing seasons.

Eat local. Eat seasonal.

In Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine, we understand that everything is energy. The food you eat carries the energetic information of the environment where it grows.

When you choose fresh, locally grown seasonal foods, those foods have developed in the same natural energy field, climate, and seasonal rhythm that your body experiences every day. Because of this, your body can absorb and assimilate their energy more easily, supporting better balance, vitality, and overall health.

Think about it: fruits and vegetables that grow in each season have evolved over thousands of years to harmonize with the unique energy of that season. They naturally know how to thrive in those conditions.

When you eat seasonal foods, you benefit from that natural seasonal intelligence—helping your body stay aligned with the rhythms of nature.

This simple practice can help support stronger immunity, smoother Qi flow, and greater harmony between your body and the environment.

Small changes in how we live and eat can bring powerful results for our health.

Many blessings,

Spring Energy Tip: Wake Up Your Feet for Better Qi Flow 🌱🦶

Hello, my dear friends,

As spring arrives, nature begins to awaken and a powerful new cycle of energy starts to rise. In Spring Forest Qigong, we understand that the essence of spring energy is internal awakening and expression—a time when life energy begins to move again after the stillness of winter.

During the first month or two of spring, the seasonal energy is still adjusting and not yet fully stable. This is why it is important to increase your awareness of both the changes happening in nature and the changes happening inside your body. By staying mindful of these shifts, you can help ground your energy and support your health during the seasonal transition.

🦶 Spring Energy Tip #5: Wake Up Your Feet

Try this simple exercise when you wake up in the morning:

Stretch your toes forward as if you are reaching for the end of the bed. Hold the stretch for a few moments and feel the activation in your feet.

This small movement helps stimulate Qi flow through the liver and kidney energy channels, which can support:

✨ Stronger immunity
✨ Better digestion
✨ Improved energy flow throughout the body

Simple daily practices like this can help your body align with the rising energy of spring and maintain balance and vitality.

Many Blessings,
Chunyi Lin

P.S. Stay tuned for more seasonal energy tips!

Hello, my dear friends,

Life is for happiness.

Anger, hatred, sadness, depression, anxiety, suffering, fighting, negative thoughts, etc., can only bring unhappiness to you and diminish the beauty of your life.

Smiling, loving, forgiveness, and kindness bring happiness to you and add more value to your life.

When you let go of anger and fighting, you feel so free spiritually, physically, and mentally, too.

Life is really so short.

Wouldn't you rather choose to experience more good things in your life, instead of spending unreplaceable time focusing on anger, depression, and sadness?

When unhappy things come, consider this as a chance to learn from the past and help you grow.

Say "thank you" to the unhappy things for bringing you to this moment of awareness and then Let go of the past. Hope for the future.

It rains today, it shines tomorrow; but the universe stays the same. Let go of the unbearable sorrows and just be yourself.

Then you will discover the true value of your life--the true value of being a human being. Open yourself to the universe. Then you will have peace of mind.

Choose Happiness my friend

Many Blessings,
Chunyi Lin

Ask yourself...

What kind of life do I want to live?

How do I make the most out of this life?

Focus what kind of future you want to live and make sure every thought you have stays in alignment with your priority.

Do you want to keep living a life of sadness?

Then, on top of that, you find something so meaningful in your life, and you build something bigger, something more meaningful.

By doing so, you are going to transform your sadness into stepping stones to help you grow and transform your sadness.

It's all about your heart, what you want from your heart?

You focus on that. You don't go back again and again to the past, to the scar.

Whatever happened is already in the past.

What do you want to do now, so that you can live a meaningful life?

Turn the suffering into a stepping stone for your enlightenment.

Many Blessings,
Chunyi Lin

Your Emotions Affect Your Liver Energy

In Traditional Chinese Medicine and Qigong, the liver plays a powerful role in your health. It is responsible for nearly 70% of the body’s detoxification process, helping remove toxins not only from food and the environment—but also from the stress chemicals your body produces during anger, frustration, and emotional tension.

When emotions like anger and frustration build up, they can disrupt the smooth flow of Liver Qi, creating energy blockages in the body. Over time, this can overwhelm the liver’s detoxifying ability, making it harder for the body to clear toxins and protect itself from illness.

When Liver Qi flows freely, the body can detox naturally, energy moves smoothly, and emotional balance returns.

This is why in Qigong practice, cultivating emotional harmony is just as important as physical health. When we release stuck emotions through SFQ Healing Movements and allow Qi to flow, we support the body’s natural ability to heal.

✨ Balance your emotions.
✨ Support your Liver Qi.
✨ Allow your energy to flow freely.
