❄️ Weather & Operations Update ❄️

Due to the winter storm expected this weekend, James Austin Health Center will operate virtually only on Monday and Tuesday to help ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

📱 What this means:

→ Telehealth appointments will continue as scheduled
→ Our team will remain available by phone and online
→ In-person visits will resume once conditions are safe

🧭 Community Update from Rockingham County:
Rockingham County Department of Health and Human Services has shared that as the likelihood of a winter storm increases, they will post updated information regarding possible shelters, weather alerts, operational changes, and important contacts.

Residents are encouraged to use the Rockingham County Severe Weather Information Center to stay informed throughout the storm:

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026.

We honor Dr. King’s enduring legacy of service, compassion, justice, and equality. His vision continues to inspire us to care for one another, strengthen our communities, and work toward a more equitable future for all.

We will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday. Thank you for allowing our team the time to reflect and honor this important day.

Weather Update for Monday, December 8 & Tuesday, December 9

Due to worsening winter weather, all Compassion Health Care locations will transition to remote operations at 12:00 PM today (Monday, 12/8).

Our plan for tomorrow: All CHC offices will operate remotely until 12:00 PM on Tuesday (12/9), with in-person services expected to resume after noon as conditions allow.
