Concho County Hospital

Concho County Hospital Concho County Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) providing care to our region for over 50 years.

Established in 1961 as a County Hospital District, Concho County Hospital is a 16-bed hospital and is designated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as a Critical Access Hospital (CAH). To be designated a CAH, a rural hospital must meet defined criteria that were outlined in the Conditions of Participation 42CFR485 and subsequent legislative refinements to the program through the BBRA, BIPA, the Medicare Modernization Act, the MIPPA, and the PPACA. We are excited about serving the needs of the community in this manner by saving lives and stabilizing patients before transport when necessary. We also provide inpatient and skilled nursing services for our community. Our outpatient services include Observation, Treatment Room, Lab, Radiology, and Computerized Tomography (CT).

Let's do a quick check:
Do you have high blood pressure? Do you have diabetes? Has it been over a year since your last lab work? Do you not know your kidney numbers?
If you answered "yes" to any of these — it may be time for a checkup.
Kidney disease often develops without symptoms in the early stages. The only way to know where you stand is through routine screening and regular primary care.
During National Kidney Month, take two minutes to think about your health — and then take the next step.
Call the Concho Medical Clinic to schedule an appointment and stay ahead of potential issues.

You don't have to wait for symptoms to take action. A low-dose CT scan can find early signs of lung cancer — often before you feel anything at all. Concho County Hospital offers this screening locally, using lower radiation than a standard CT. If you're between 50 and 80 and have a history of smoking, talk with your provider or call us to see if screening is right for you.
A simple scan could make a difference—call (325) 869-5911 or learn more: https://www.conchocounty.hospital/getpage.php?name=What_You_Should_Know_About_Low-Dose_Chest_CT_for_Lung_Cancer_Screening
