Heartburn isn’t always “too much acid.”

In many cases, it’s actually:

• Low stomach acid
• Gut dysbiosis
• H. pylori or other infections
• Poor motility
• Mineral imbalances
• Chronic stress affecting vagal tone

When stomach acid is LOW, food doesn’t break down properly.
It ferments.
Pressure builds.
The valve between the stomach and esophagus opens… and reflux happens.

Suppressing acid might reduce symptoms.

But if the real issue is dysbiosis, infection, or impaired digestion…
acid suppression doesn’t fix that.

We have to restore function:
✔️ microbial balance
✔️ adequate acid production
✔️ motility
✔️ nervous system regulation

Root cause > symptom control.

You are not for everyone… and that’s not rejection, it’s refinement. 🤍

Not everyone will understand your pace.
Not everyone will value your standards.
Not everyone will be ready for the depth you carry.

But your people?
They’ll feel it. They won’t need convincing.

Stop shrinking to be digestible.
Stop explaining your worth to rooms that were never meant to hold you.

Stay rooted. Stay aligned.
Keep facing your true north. ✨

Recurrent infections are rarely “just bad luck.”

If your child is on antibiotics every year…
If you keep getting UTIs, sinus infections, strep, yeast…
If it feels like you finally get better and then it comes right back…

That’s not a deficiency of antibiotics.

It’s usually a capacity issue.

Immune systems don’t randomly fail. They get overwhelmed.

• Mineral depletion
• Chronic stress + nervous system dysregulation
• Low stomach acid
• Toxin burden (mold, environmental exposures, etc.)
• Gut dysfunction
• Poor drainage

Antibiotics have a time and place. I use them when appropriate.

But yearly? Repeatedly? As the only strategy?

Common doesn’t equal normal.

Your kiddo deserves an immune system that can respond… not one that’s constantly rescued.

Let’s build resilience instead of chasing infections. 🫶🏻

Please stop falling for “one size fits all” hormone solutions.

There is no single supplement that magically fixes hormones.

Hormones are almost never the primary issue.
They’re messengers.

If cortisol is off… ask why.
If progesterone is low… ask why.
If cycles are irregular… ask why.

Gut dysfunction.
Mineral imbalances.
Chronic stress.
Blood sugar instability.
Inflammation.
Mold.
Nervous system dysregulation.

When you chase hormones without addressing the terrain, you end up stuck on a cycle of temporary relief and new symptoms.

And women are marketed to constantly.

“If this worked for her, it’ll work for you.”
“That supplement fixes everyone.”
“This is the hormone hack.”

No.

Your body is not a template.
It’s a story.

Let’s stop chasing numbers and start asking better questions.

Let’s actually get to the root. 🫶🏼

Most adults aren’t fully rested.

College students pulling late study nights.
Healthcare workers on long shifts.
Moms up with babies.
Entrepreneurs building businesses.
Athletes training hard.

Chronic, low-grade sleep deprivation is common — and that means your brain is often running on depleted energy.

A 2024 placebo-controlled trial showed that a single 20 g dose of creatine improved processing speed, working memory, and reaction time during sleep deprivation by supporting brain bioenergetics (ATP).

This isn’t hype.
It’s mitochondrial support.

Now — that does NOT mean everyone should jump to 20 g.

For most adults:
✔️ Start with 5 g daily
✔️ Assess tolerance
✔️ Gradually increase if needed
✔️ Consistency > mega dosing

Creatine isn’t just for muscle.
It’s one of the most researched compounds for cellular energy — including the brain.

If you’re tired but still expected to perform at a high level… this matters.

🥬 Why Your Gut (and Your Wallet) Will Love Cabbage Soup! 🥣
A must try recipe below!

🛡️ Immune Booster: One cup of cabbage packs a massive dose of Vitamin C (over 50% of your daily needs!), helping you fight off those pesky seasonal sniffles.
✨ Digestion "Reset": High in fiber and water, this soup helps "flush out" your system, reduces bloating, and keeps things moving smoothly.
❤️ Heart-Friendly: It’s loaded with antioxidants and potassium, which help lower blood pressure and protect your heart.
⚖️ Easy Weight Management: Cabbage is incredibly low in calories but high in volume, meaning you can eat a big, satisfying bowl while keeping your goals on track.
🔥 Anti-Inflammatory Superstar: Cabbage contains powerful compounds that help calm inflammation in the body and may even lower the risk of chronic diseases.

Cabbage Soup

✨Ingredients:
• 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
• 2 carrots, chopped
• 1 medium yellow onion, diced
• 1 celery rib, diced
• ¾ teaspoon sea salt
• Freshly ground black pepper
• 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
• 2 (14.5-ounce) cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes
• 4 cups vegetable broth
• 1 (15.5-ounce) can cooked white beans, drained and rinsed
• 4 garlic cloves, grated
• 2 Yukon Gold potatoes, diced
• 1 small green cabbage, about 1 pound (9 cups chopped)
• 1 teaspoon dried thyme
• Fresh parsley, for garnish

✨Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the carrots, onion, celery, salt, and several grinds of pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 minutes.

2. Add the vinegar, stir, and then add the tomatoes, broth, beans, garlic, potatoes, cabbage, and thyme. Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the potatoes and cabbage are tender.

3. Season to taste, garnish with fresh parsley, serve and enjoy!

Cold plunging isn’t evil.
But it isn’t neutral either.

It’s a stressor.

And most women I see aren’t lacking stress.
They’re under-slept.
Under-nourished.
Running on cortisol.
Trying to “biohack” their way out of depletion.

You don’t build resilience by shocking a system that already feels unsafe.

You build it with:
• nourishment
• minerals
• blood sugar stability
• sleep
• nervous system support
• warmth

Cold exposure can be a tool.
But tools are only helpful when the foundation is solid.

You can’t cold plunge your way out of:
poor diet
poor sleep
chronic stress
trauma
imbalanced hormones

As a woman in my fertile years, my priority is safety and metabolic stability — not stacking more stress for the sake of discipline. You won’t catch me cold plunging ✌🏼

If you’re thriving, sleeping well, well-fed, and metabolically stable? That’s different.

But most women aren’t there yet.

Let’s build first. ✨

Stress impacts every single cell in your body — directly or indirectly.

Hormone chaos doesn’t just “happen.”
Chronic stress is often the root.

2026 isn’t the year for running yourself into the ground.
It’s the year for slowing down on purpose.

Protect your peace.
Guard your energy.
You’re worth it. ✨

Let’s Get Back To Health!

Functional Medicine is an evolution in the practice of medicine that better addresses the healthcare needs of the 21st century. By shifting the traditional disease-centered focus of medical practice to a more patient-centered approach, functional medicine addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms. Functional Medicine practitioners spend time with their patients, listening to their histories and looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease. In this way, Functional Medicine supports the unique expression of health and vitality for each individual.
