In addition to chronic pain clients we also serve clients with early stage Parkinson’s Disease and those with early stage dementia. Some programs for these conditions focus almost entirely on high-intensity interval training. At RPG Kinesiotherapy we include high-intensity interval training in our program but include much more. Also included are cardiorespiratory training, balance training, cognitive-motor dual-task training and anaerobic training. These activities promote angiogenesis, neurogenesis and provide a neuroprotective benefit. That is not to say that our activities will cure Parkinson’s Disease or dementia but they have been shown to slow progression and to help our clients better cope with their condition.

At RPG Kinesiotherapy it is not our desire to have our chronic pain clients return to the clinic week after week and month after month with no end in sight. Instead, we want to put ourselves out of business with every client. When our clients leave our clinic for the last time they leave with a plan which, if followed, will maintain the gains obtained through their therapeutic progressions.

Essential to our approach to chronic pain management is the active participation of the client. Active participation has two components. The first component is that the client is responsible for the daily application of techniques learned in the clinic. Ours is not an approach where the client comes to the clinic to have something done “to” them. The other component is that client feedback is critical in assisting us in properly planning the therapeutic plan.

According to the Mayo Clinic sciatica refers to “pain that travels along the path of the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve travels from the lower back through the hips and buttocks and down each leg.”

Here at RPG Kinesiotherapy sciatica has been successfully treated in clients who have exhausted traditional approaches. At RPG Kinesiotherapy if our technique does not begin to bring down the pain level to some degree during the first therapy session there is no charge and no obligation to continue

Some of our chronic pain clients come to us after exhausting all options offered by traditional medicine. When they come to RPG Kinesiotherapy we guarantee that if their pain level is not reduced to some degree, e.g., from 7 to 6.9, during the first therapy session there is no charge and no obligation to continue.
