MMF #18 Authentic Happiness
Saturday, March 7, 2026, between 8:30–10:00 AM (New York local time), The Middle Way Institute (MWI) organized a global session via Zoom to connect all The Middle Way Friends from around the world. Peace-loving participants from 23 countries attended: USA, Canada, Colombia, UK, Russia, France, Germany, Finland, Belgium, Portugal, Croatia, Jordan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Vietnam, India, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand.
The program started with a peaceful guided meditation led by Monk Burin. After that, he delivered a wisdom talk on “Authentic Happiness.” All participants were then invited to take a group photo and interact casually in four smaller sharing groups.
Before the fund offering, participants recited the Five Caring Ethics (Five Silas). The March offering was led by the Holland Family from the USA in Pali and Islene Almondes from Brazil in English. Subsequently, the monastic community gave a Pali blessing to all patrons and volunteers. Several participants felt uplifted after the offering and receiving blessings from the teaching monks. Finally, the program concluded with Monk Burin delivering The Middle Way update to The Middle Way patrons.
It was a valuable monthly opportunity for The Middle Way Friends to practice Giving, Ethics, Meditation and Wisdom together.
