We also will have a modern retail optical offering unique frames, quality lens products and great staff to ensure proper production and fit of your new glasses. Lakefront Eye Care has always been a dream of Dr. Bert’s. She is thrilled to be a new small business owner and is dedicated to giving back and being involved in the community. Private practice optometry is Dr. Bert’s passion and she takes pride in providing exceptional care to every patient she sees. Dr Bert takes a holistic approach to eye and health care. She not only provides a thorough eye examination but spends time with each patient to ensure they are achieving the best and most functionally efficient vision possible. Dr. Bert is able to assess the health of the eyes and how it is connected and related to each patient's overall health. She takes a special interest in nutrition and how it affects the eyes and body. Dr. Bert loves providing pediatric eye care and participates in the Infant See program providing eye exams at no cost to infants under one year of age. Her specialties include nutraceuticals, pediatrics, ocular disease and corneal disease including the fitting of specialty contact lenses and myopia control.
