Monkeypox is a viral disease that is endemic in parts of Africa but in recent weeks has spread to other countries, including the United States. As of July 13th, the U.S. has confirmed over 900 cases across >40 states1.

Falling asleep with loose earrings in is dangerous!

It’s very dangerous to fall asleep with loose earrings in your ear, you are advised to remove them prior to bed. They can perforate your eardrum, lacerate the ear canal and cause other problems. (This 2.5 cm earring was removed from a patient’s canal with only minor trauma to the ear canal).
