Relaxation, visualization, meditation, and regression can be used in order to eliminate stress, tension, fears, and phobias in a holistic way. I teach my patients meditation techniques that they can immediately incorporate into their daily routines, as well as use for the rest of their lives. These techniques can reduce insomnia, for instance, as well as help with weight control, smoking cessation, stress reduction, strengthening the immune system, fighting infections and chronic illness, and lowering blood pressure. The health ramifications seem endless. I’m quite convinced that regular meditation is a priceless tool for the recovery and maintenance of health, for the chemistry and the physics of the body are indeed influenced by mental and spiritual energies.
