What a wonderful Monday we had full of community and celebration! 🎄🥣
We loved spending time with our tenants and staff at our holiday lunch party—sharing a great meal, exchanging gifts, and enjoying plenty of smiles and laughter.
Later that evening, we were grateful to welcome so many friends and family members for our Soup Supper.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make both events so memorable. We’re thankful to be part of such a caring community!

From the Administrator's desk:
Today was a very special day for our campus!! Please bear with us for the long post! A lot to celebrate!
We are ending our year being an overall 5-star Medicare Facility, 5 stars in staffing and 5 stars in Quality! In fact we are the only Nursing Home in a 25 mile radius with a 5-star rating on Quality!
Our staff grew from 74 to 94 and we are currently fully staffed for pretty much all departments. Missing only one PT nurse! And our team is the absolute BEST!! Below are pictures of Awards presented today!
**Each year we dress up for 12 days of Christmas and today was Grinch Day- hence some of our staff wearing a "different" and "FUN" attire!!!

Our Administrator and Assisted Living Director had the joy of visiting around 12 of the many valued business partners to spread holiday cheer and share our heartfelt gratitude. These partnerships allow us to work together, strengthen our community, and continue providing the best care possible to those we serve. Regional Medical Center Manchester, Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics, Care Initiatives hospice in Manchester, St. Croix Hospice in Strawberry Point, Above & Beyond Home Health and Hospice Care, MercyOne Elkader Medical Center, UnityPoint Health - Cedar Rapids, Millennium Therapy, Regional Family Health in Edgewood, Strawberry & Winthrop.

We’d also like to give a special thank you to Elise Bergan and the Edgewood Chamber of Commerce. Elise works tirelessly for our town and local businesses, always bringing new ideas and supporting us in countless ways—from community events like Halloween and Easter to helping us find great team members. We are truly thankful for her and for all of our amazing business partners! ❤️
