We hosted our annual membership meeting last week at the Hopkins Center for the Arts! We have two new members joining the MNANP Board of Directors. Please welcome Dr. Joyce Knieff (Vice President) and Dr. Katherine Jones (Treasurer) to our team! Dr. Haley Panka was also reelected as our Public Outreach Director.

And a special thank you to our past board members Dr. Cassie Wilder and Dr. Ariel Barkeim for serving on the board for so many years. Thank you ladies! 💚

🌊 Just like waves, change never stops 🌊

These last few weeks have made me feel like this season’s “theme” is the ✨summer of change ✨

Changes to personal life, school life, and work life. Some of them are good changes (I started clinical internship and am practicing therapy with real clients! 😃) and some of them are difficult changes (I started clinical internship and am practicing therapy with real clients 😳😅).

Probably the biggest change that will happen this year is that I will be moving from Wellness Minneapolis to my fully independent virtual private practice. This, like many changes, comes with mixed feelings. I am very thankful for the supportive environment created by all the folks on . The community feeling that Sara Jean Barrett and Jesse Haas cultivated has been nurturing and wonderful. It’s amazing to feel supported even though I have been working 100% virtually for a couple of years now! It speaks to all the love and care that the two of you put into Wellness Minneapolis🌼

🌊 Change isn’t good or bad. It is just change. 🌊
