We are so excited to have Dr. Marie-Gabrielle Reed join the Nowlogy Psychology Experts in Edina, MN!

Dr. Reed earned a dual-specialty PhD in Developmental and Clinical Psychology from the University of Minnesota after several years of work as a social worker in France. She brings over three decades of clinical experience, a decade of academic research focused on stress, adversity, and resilience, and more than 10 years of experience as a psychological expert for the courts.

She has worked across clinics, hospitals, and private practice, providing diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, and psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, parents, and adults. Dr. Reed supports individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and life experiences, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic health conditions, behavioral challenges, autism, ADHD, school and developmental difficulties, relationship concerns, minority stress, and more.

As a developmental psychologist, Dr. Reed considers the full developmental trajectory of each client. Her approach looks at both past and present sources of pain and resilience to help clients move forward with greater freedom and emotional well-being. She also specializes in supporting expecting and new parents during the earliest stages of their child’s life.

Dr. Reed offers psychodynamic play therapy for preverbal and preschool children, particularly those experiencing trauma or attachment challenges, and works extensively with school-age children, teens, and adults facing concerns such as chronic stress or pain, OCD, phobias, academic transitions, family changes, identity challenges, psychosis, PTSD, and C-PTSD.
