Game days aren’t just about athletes and competition — they’re also about preparation behind the scenes. ⚽️🏈🏐

This little sideline setup might look simple, but every piece has a purpose:

✔️ Emergency kit – stocked with supplies for everything from wound care to more serious injuries.
✔️ Portable shade + shelter – to protect athletes (and providers) from heat or weather.
✔️ AED – because every second counts in a cardiac emergency.
✔️ Hydration – prevention matters; staying ahead of cramps, heat illness, and recovery starts with water.

Being ready on the sidelines means more than taping ankles or handing out water. It’s about anticipating the unexpected and making sure athletes have the support they need to play safely and recover well.

Athlete health and performance starts with preparation. 🩺⚡

🎉 Big shoutout to Dr. Mac for scoring a fantastic 5-year award for her amazing service to Northwestern Health Sciences ! 🌟 Over the years, she’s worn many hats but is currently rocking the role of Integrated Sport Care Coordinator and Adjunct Faculty. She’s absolutely thrilled to keep the momentum going at the school and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things the next 5 years have in store! We are pleased to announce that Dr. Mac has been awarded the Metro Young Practitioner of the Year by the MCA Gala. We are proud of her significant contributions to MCA and the profession, as well as her noteworthy civic achievements. Although she was unable to attend the Gala due to a prior commitment to National Taekwondo, we congratulate Dr. Mac on this well-deserved recognition.
