📣 Fun fact I discovered recently: Flutterby’s Hypnobirthing class fee has not been raised in 6 years! 😳

Beginning with the January 2026 class, the fee will adjust slightly from $350 —> $375 to balance rising costs and ongoing curriculm growth. This allows me to continue offering the personalized, heart-centered and evidence-based classes you’ve come to expect. 💛

One of our favorite Hypnobirthing class activities is “Picturing Your Ideal Birth” - creating a visual birth plan to imagine how you’d love your birthing environment to feel when the day arrives. 💫

Here’s mine from nearly 15 years ago! When I tell my students “stick figures are totally fine,” I really mean it 😂.

Visualization is such a powerful tool - the mind often can’t tell the difference between what’s imagined and what’s real. So by envisioning your ideal birth, you’re already inviting that sense of calm and confidence that can carry you through every twist and turn of the journey. 🌿

Our hearts are broken by the tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic School & Church in Minneapolis. No child, no teacher, no parent should ever have to endure this kind of violence. We grieve with the victims and their loved ones — and we are devastated that yet again our country and our community is left mourning such an unthinkable loss. Flutterby is in the business of hope, transformation, and new life. May the promise of all three bring comfort to those in their deepest grief.

We stand with Annunciation and all of Minneapolis in sorrow, in outrage, and in solidarity. 💙🦋

💫 Welcome to the spinning world, Baby A! When Yahsmene and Andre enrolled in the June-July class, they weren’t too sure they would make it through all five class sessions before baby arrived with a mid-July guess date… And their in intuition was right! An occurence that I have seen countless times in 13+ years. But, you know what’s crazy amazing?! These are the students I hear from the most often! — And always with a note that they used all they learned in “x” number of class sessions to prepare and have their best possible birth. 🤓 Such a great reminder that some prep is better than none, AND that it is never too late to start! Many thanks to this beautiful family for sharing their joy with us. Congratulations! 💫
