ACOG reaffirms the safety and benefits of acetaminophen use during pregnancy.
More than two decades of research have found no causal link between acetaminophen use during pregnancy and autism, ADHD, or intellectual disability in children. Acetaminophen continues to be an important and safe option for managing pain and fever in pregnancy—conditions that can pose serious risks to pregnant patients and their fetuses if left untreated. We are recommending all these vaccines in pregnancy and will have them all available in our clinics soon!

ACOG has released updated guidance recommending maternal vaccination for COVID-19, influenza, and RSV. The three guidance documents, all of which recommend maternal immunization, lay out the full body of current scientific evidence that underscores both the safety and benefits of choosing to be vaccinated against these respiratory conditions during pregnancy.

Tylenol is perfectly safe in pregnancy to treat pain or fever.

Tylenol is perfectly safe in pregnancy to treat pain or fever.

Acetaminophen remains a safe, trusted option for pain relief during pregnancy. Despite recent unfounded claims, there’s no clear evidence linking prudent use to issues with fetal development. ACOG's guidance remains the same. When pain relief is needed during pregnancy, acetaminophen should be used in moderation, and after consulting your doctor.

The biggest question about Almara we get is, "Did you get bought out?" And the answer is a resounding, No!

In fact, Haugen OB/GYN is pushing back against this national trend and digging our physician-owned roots in even deeper with Almara. By giving our long-established collaboration of physician-owned OBGYN practices one name, we are spreading the word that there is still an alternative to big system care and hedge-fund run practices.

Personalized, physician-directed medicine still exists, and we think that matters. As part of Almara, we continue to offer personal physicians as your partner in health, guiding care with your best interest at heart. Now with a louder voice and a few more resources to advance our quest to build better, more comprehensive healthcare for women of all ages.

Our quest to challenge and innovate women's health made the news! 📰

Abby Bulger with the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal sat down with Almara's President, Dr. Suzin Cho, to discuss
🌸 the current state of healthcare for women
🌸 what it means to be a physician-owned and lead practice
🌸 how bringing 7 independent-practices under one name doesn't change the personalized approach but does amplify our voice and expand offerings
