Our Baby Day event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our Activity Partners. Each of you brought meaningful, hands-on experiences that made a real difference for the families who attended.

From social-emotional development and mental health, to language, communication, and early literacy… from health and safety to feeding and motor skill activities—you helped create a space where learning, connection, and growth truly came to life.

Because of you, our little ones had the opportunity to explore, play, and build important developmental skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Baby Day is tomorrow! 👶🎉

Yesterday, State Representative Terry Canales presented a signed Baby Day Proclamation to Dr. Judith Solis, Deputy Director of the Division of Performance Focused Governance & Community Impact at Region One, officially recognizing April 18th as Baby Day. This proclamation highlights the importance of supporting our youngest children and the families who care for them.

We’re excited to celebrate Baby Day and continue raising awareness about the vital role early childhood plays in building strong, healthy communities.

Region One ECI extends sincere thanks to Representative Canales and Dr. Solis for their leadership and commitment to early childhood and families across our community.

Region One ECI had a wonderful time at the Brownsville ISD Autism Conference and Community Resource Fair! 💙

We enjoyed connecting with families, sharing the importance of early intervention, and helping guide those interested in services through the referral process. It’s always meaningful to support families in taking those first steps toward their child’s growth and development.
