Keeping our community healthy is a year-round effort! Our Immunizations Team hosts off site clinics throughout the year to make vaccines easier to access.

This weekend, we set up at the Vaquero Tailgate and helped students and families get protected because when more people stay vaccinated, our whole community benefits. ✌️

🚨 Infant Formula Recall Alert 🚨

There are currently 13 cases in the United States, including Texas, of infant botulism linked to ByHeart infant formula. ByHeart has voluntarily recalled two batches of its Whole Nutrition Infant Formula out of an abundance of caution following an FDA investigation into infant botulism cases.

🔍 What You Should Do:
Stop using formula from these batches immediately.
Dispose of the product safely.

⚠️ If your baby shows symptoms like constipation, weak cry, droopy eyelids, or difficulty feeding or breathing, contact your healthcare provider right away. Currently, testing for botulism is ONLY for symptomatic individuals.

Happy Halloween on behalf of our Health and Human Services staff! 🎃👻
We celebrated with costumes, a pumpkin decorating contest, and plenty of spooky treats. It was a great way to take a break, share some laughs, and enjoy time together as a team.

Our Animal Control Division was proud to team up with Yaqui Animal Rescue and Donna ISD for a free vaccine and microchip clinic at Donna North High School. Together, we helped families keep their pets healthy, protected, and one step closer to home if they ever get lost. Our Animal Control Division is ramping up efforts with new partnerships and more clinics to keep pets safe and families supported across Hidalgo County. We'll continue to keep you updated!
