Inner emotions, emotions are the deep feelings and reactions that occur within us and may not always be directly visible or expressed. These emotions are usually the result of a combination of past experiences, beliefs, needs, and our perception of current situations. They can be categorized into:

1. Basic emotions like joy, sadness, fear, anger, surprise, and disgust. These are natural and universal reactions that almost all humans experience.
2. Complex emotions like jealousy, pride, guilt, or shame. These are usually a combination of basic emotions and are shaped by culture and learning.
3. Unconscious emotions, which are feelings we might not be fully aware of but that affect our decisions and behaviors, such as unexplained anxiety or unwarranted reassurance.

Inner emotions act like a warning system and a guidance system: a warning system because they signal what's safe or dangerous, and a guidance system because they help us understand what's valuable to us and which paths to pursue or avoid."
