Blizzards can create life-threatening conditions in a short amount of time. A little preparation goes a long way.

Make sure you have essential supplies at home, stay inside as much as possible, and keep warm with layers and dry clothing. Avoid driving unless it is absolutely necessary, and keep a charged phone or radio so you can get updates or call for help. Continue monitoring local weather alerts throughout the storm.

Stay safe and check in on friends, neighbors, and loved ones.
