We’re so excited to introduce .elaine34 who will be teaching a HIIT Series this spring!!!💜🌷💥

If you’re looking for more cardio, to get back on track before summer, and gain strength/stamina, this series is for you!

Let’s talk HIIT! It stands for “high intensity interval training.” You can expect a warmup, cardio burst, upper, then lower body, and core strengthening with cardio intervals mixed in between each section. One final cardio push and a cooldown. All to upbeat music!🎶

Join in for some Mardi Gras cardio fun with boas, disco lights, decorative masks, and of course, beads!!

This dance party will be a “mini version” of our famous Burlesque Night, so we’ll dance to our favorite Burlesque/sassy songs in our 60 min workout!

All levels are welcome; you do not have to be a “good dancer” to come!!!

How is your Fitness Plan? 💪🏼

Having a planned fitness regimen can be really beneficial to your overall health.
But Where do you even start??
Think about your fitness goals and why you want to start them. Are they for training for an upcoming event, is it for weight loss, etc.

When you figure out where you want you fitness plan to go to it helps figure out what plan you are going to start and what you are going to need.

Start your routine and go slow with it. Don’t go to 5 classes a day. Your body isn’t used to a routine of fitness so if you go too fast it can lead to injury or burnout. Start to build that routine you have set. And once you do mix it up sometimes.
Do something different once in a while. Routine can be good but sometimes it’s good to let you body breathe and have fun with something else.

Want to understand why? Here’s a fascinating fact: sweating acts as a cooling mechanism to prevent your body from overheating. This process, known as thermoregulation, is crucial. Without sweating, your body could shut down, so it’s vital for maintaining body stability and supporting your cardiovascular health.

Another awesome fact: Sweating actually produces antimicrobial peptides that benefit your skin by cleansing pores, fighting acne, and combating bacteria.
