Repeatedly, we hear parents of new patients say with wonder and sometimes frustration, "I never knew what was going on in my child's speech appointment!" Some parents are content to stay in the waiting room (and that's great!), and some parents want to be involved, seeing what they're paying for and learning how to help their child at home or in school. At Edmond Speech Therapy, our therapists love to get parents involved in therapy!

We don't believe in cookie cutters! If each patient has a unique diagnosis and treatment plan, shouldn't therapy be unique for each patient? Your child or family may require a different time, setting, or style of therapy. At Edmond Speech Therapy, we do our best to design therapy around your child and your family's needs when possible. If you're wanting something more than your child's current speech therapy, ask us about our therapy services here or by phone!

Join us next Friday for our first Loved Ones and Littles! It is a "Mommy and Me" style class for young children and their caregivers focusing on songs, books, and speech and language strategies. Some of our SLPs will be available to chat with you if you have concerns about your child's communication. We would love to have you at this free event!
