Swift Physical Therapy

Swift Physical Therapy swiftwellnessok.com Season has been trained in Manual Therapy techniques for over 17 years. Each person is unique and responds differently to treatment.

She performs a comprehensive examination of the musculoskeletal system (muscles, joints and fascia [connective tissue]) to see how the body is working as a whole. Injury, disease and/or surgical intervention affecting one part of the body can directly or indirectly affect another part. She looks at the body as a whole unit and works on compensations we have from past injuries, surgeries, etc. She

looks to treat the source of the issue; not patching the issue and waiting for it to arise again. The body is capable of compensating for long periods of times without symptoms. Problems begin when the body can no longer compensate and function efficiently. Season will screen your spine from base of head to sacrum to check for the area of greatest restriction. This will help her identify the key area that needs to be treated first. She uses gentle techniques to help your body re-align, such as muscular contractions and muscle balancing. After she adjusts that area, she’ll screen you again until all areas exhibit increased movement (no more hitch in your get-along). Some soreness may occur as the body adapts to the changes and increases mobility of the tissues. Additionally, this soreness may also be a result of increased circulation resulting in a detoxification process. Regardless of the result of the soreness, the discomfort usually resolves within 48 - 72 hours. Drinking plenty of water helps to decrease the soreness. In our experience, most patients receive a 50 - 70% improvement in at least some of their symptoms within 6 visits. We have found that initially a treatment frequency of once every 2 - 3 weeks is most beneficial, and then as the symptoms decrease, the frequency of visits also decreases. Usually the client notices changes in flexibility and/or symptoms within the first 1 - 2 treatments. Duration of relief will normally increase as the number of tight areas decrease. Remember every client's treatment will be individualized to meet specific needs in response to treatment. Manual Therapy can be used for prevention and wellness. When restrictions are removed from muscles and joints, it allows the body to function at a higher level. Then, more energy is freed up to respond to the environment and be used for work, play, and recreation. This gift of prevention can enhance sports performance, decrease degenerative changes, and optimize health potential. Wellness and prevention is not covered by insurance and is not related to injury or ailments. This care does not require a prescription.

Treating the body without treating the ENTIRE body...MJ would say that's not enough!

We learned how important it is to treat the cranial sutures to address ALL the things this weekend - changes in the nervous system, fluid flow, drainage and full body release👊🏼🙌🏽

What a beautiful testimony to the healing capacity of our bodies.

We love providing you with the starting point and then guiding you to maintain your posture, mobility and awareness - that's exactly why we created our Wellness Workshop and our 5 ebooks✨

Everything I would encourage this patient to do is found in our Workshop and our Jaw & Pelvis ebook

Cranial nerves exit the skull and control things like your face, jaw, eyes, digestion, and even your stress response.

If the surrounding structures are restricted -
that’s constant input to your nervous system.

We take hit after hit…
and most providers never once check how the skull adapted.

Your cranium has taken years of micro and macro trauma - starting at birth -
🧠 Birth compression + trauma
🧠Goose eggs as a kid
🧠Soccer headers
🧠Car door hits
🧠Concussions

If the sutures aren’t adapting well, your body will compensate somewhere else.

Look closely.

Her face didn’t change…
the tension did.

When the jaw is tight, it pulls on the entire face.
Forehead, eyes, neck, even symmetry.

This patient knew she was holding tension + trauma.
Tina gently assisted her jaw and head through cranial work.

Once that tension is gone:
✨ the jaw widens naturally
✨ the eyes appear brighter
✨ the face looks more balanced

This isn’t about doing or adding more.💉
It’s about removing what’s in the way.🙌🏽

AT Still, the father of osteopathy, said it best.

Given the appropriate support and conditions, our bodies have the innate ability to recover and restore to a state of health, wellness and resiliency.

Manual Therapy is one piece of the lifestyle we need to adopt to reach our potential. Are you participating?!

Some of us are wired a little more sensitive…
and sometimes it’s not that at all -
it’s just a heavy season. We can eat right, get sunlight, try to sleep, but the weight of everything we're balancing can get heavy😏

Stress, poor sleep, tension…
Your nervous system can get stuck in overdrive.

That’s why I love my Pulsetto.

What makes this different is that it actually targets the vagus nerve directly -
instead of sitting on your wrist or earlobe like a lot of other options. It gives your body more direct input to shift into
rest, digest, and recovery.

You can use at home, in real time, when your body needs it most. Even right before bed to help you quickly drift...

If your nervous system has been stuck in overdrive,
this is a great tool to have on hand.

No matter how baby enters, there can be tension.
When we release the tension, the nervous system can settle and beautiful things happen after that 🩷

Immediate changes in this one month old's tone, breathing, mood, sleep and nursing.

Ready for your baby to actually sleep like a baby?
Sometimes it’s not about routines or schedules…it’s about how their little body feels.

Tension in the body, especially through the head, neck, and nervous system, can make it hard for babies to settle, stay asleep, and feel comfortable.

That's exactly why this mom brought her newborn in. She sensed her sweet babe was uncomfortable and that it was causing sleepless nights and days.

With gentle, specific hands-on work, we help their body relax, regulate, and find ease…so sleep can come more naturally.

Watch her progression from tight and round to fully relaxed🩷

When baby sleeps better… the whole family does!
