Being present for this moment will never get old 🤍

You are worn out from some of the hardest physical work you’ll ever do…
You are weary from the emotional toll that bringing a new soul into the world demands…

But! There’s a smile and a 🎶hallelujah🎶 on your lips because you’d do it over and over again if that’s what it took to bring your boy out and into your arms 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

On the afternoon of April 13th, Sparrow Song Baby #634 made *quite* the arrival when he decided that he wanted to be born with his head asynclitic and in a straight OT position 🙃 His strong mama had to work *much* harder than she expected to with a second baby… but did so with constant doula support which was new for her! She had not 1 but 2 doulas because we had Robin- Raining Graces Birth Services and Postpartum Recovery along for the ride 🤍 It’s always such a gift to have her at births with me!

B Family- SO grateful to have been chosen and trusted by y’all for the welcoming of Baby C 🙏🏼 He is a darling boy and it’s a sweet thing to see how intentionally you are raising your children! 🤍

🐐✨ TWINS!!! ✨🐐
I didn’t quite make it in time to be the goat‑doula for their big entrance this time, but I DID get to check on these two fresh little loves 💙 and their strong, steady mama right after delivery.

And honestly… how stinkin' cute are they😍😍. Those tiny noises, those wobbly legs, that brand‑new‑to-the-world sweetness — it gets me every time.

New life is new life, whether I’m supporting families or cheering on a mama goat who just worked her tail off to bring her babies earthside. What a gift to witness moments like this.❣️

(Re)Introduction
Welcome to all the new(er) followers 💜

I am a dedicated birth doula, serving families with a calm, intuitive, and deeply compassionate presence. As a wife and mother of six, I bring personal experience, empathy, and a grounded understanding of the many layers of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I offer comprehensive support throughout pregnancy and birth, providing physical, emotional, and spiritual encouragement rooted in my faith. That faith guides me to approach every birth with compassion, respect, and a profound sense of sacredness.

My heart for supporting mothers began long before I formally entered birth work. My journey has moved through distinct seasons—first as a police officer, then as a stay‑at‑home mom, and now as a doula and childbirth educator. Each chapter shaped me in quiet but powerful ways that influence how I serve today.

My years in law enforcement taught me to remain steady in intense moments, advocate clearly, and hold space for people with dignity and calm. Motherhood softened and expanded me, awakening deep intuition, gentleness, and reverence for the sacred work of nurturing life. These experiences—both strong and tender—continue to guide my hands and heart in every birth space I enter.

Today, I serve families with continuous, gentle support, meeting each one exactly where they are. I lean on prayer, intuition, and a peaceful presence to ensure families feel informed, reassured, and never alone as they move through one of life’s most transformative experiences.

🌿C‑Section Awareness Month:🌿 Honoring Strength in Every Birth Story

C‑section mamas are some of the strongest women I know — and I say that as a doula, but also as a mother who has walked that road six times myself.

Each of my C‑sections shaped me.
They stretched me physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
They taught me resilience, surrender, advocacy, and the fierce love a mother carries into the unknown.

Those experiences didn’t make me less of a mother, though I had wrestled with that *LIE* for a long while.
They made me more empathetic, more intuitive, and more grounded — and they deeply influence the way I support families today.

And while C‑sections are a huge part of my story, they’re not the only stories I honor.

I support all birth — unmedicated, epidural, induction, VBAC, planned C‑section, unexpected C‑section, home birth, hospital birth, birth center birth.
Every path into motherhood is sacred. Every story deserves respect. Every family deserves informed, compassionate support.

To every C‑section mama:
You are brave.
You are powerful.
You are worthy of honor this month — and every month.

Your story matters. Your birth matters. And you are never alone in it.

52 hours of hard work, brave decisions, and beautifully adjusted plans. 💪🏼

This birth was overflowing with self‑advocacy, perseverance, and the deepest kind of love. Saturday morning, I had the privilege of joining my sweet clients and supporting them through the final 21 hours of their *very* long labor.

What stood out most was how intentionally they used their voices. They expressed their desires and preferences clearly. They asked questions when something didn’t feel certain. They took every ounce of information offered to them and used it to make informed, thoughtful choices about their care. 🙌🏼

And maybe the most inspiring part — they fought back the intrusive thoughts so many birthing families face:
“I’m being a difficult patient.”
“I’m being needy.”
“I’m being stubborn or demanding.”

They replaced those lies with truth: 💥
“I am an individual with my own set of desires and preferences that best serve our family’s needs.”

Birth is not 🚫 "one size fits all"

Their teamwork, strength, and confidence carried them through every curveball. And at the end of this long, beautiful journey, their perfect rainbow baby boy made his way earthside. 🌈

M Family — gosh, what an incredible journey to behold. 🥹🫠🥰Thank you for trusting me, for inviting me into this sacred space, and for showing such courage and devotion every step of the way.
