MSHH Donor Closet

MSHH Donor Closet We offer Affordable New & Used Durable Medical equipment (DME) and Mobility Equipment That is where MSHH comes in.

When durable medical and mobility equipment is no longer needed most people feel that the right thing to do is pass it along so it can help someone else. We are all volunteers who accept donations of this good equipment, refurbish it and make it available to others at a very affordable “suggested minimum donation” amount. And, the money that we take in above our expenses is made available to assist those in Washington State with Multiple Sclerosis. Check this site to see what we have on hand at our two MSHH Donor Closet locations – then come to see us. Or, if you have multiple sclerosis see how we partner with other agencies to assist. Our products include but are not limited to: Wheelchairs, Transport Chairs, Rollators, ROHO Cushions, Walkers, Canes and Crutches, Power Chairs, Electric Wheelchairs, Mobility Scooters and Ramps, Bedside Commodes, Shower Chairs, Shower/Tub Transfer Benches, Toilet Risers, Toilet Safety Rails, Lift Chairs, Hospital Beds, Side Rails, Hospital Bed Tables, Hoyer Lifts, Trapezes and Assist Poles, Portable Bed Assist Rails, Transfer Slide Boards, CPAP Machines, Grabbers and Knee Scooters

Check out this 5 star Facebook review by Shannon Lee: MS Helping Hands is a fantastic organization, with the best volunteers. They saved me a lot of money, delivery was seamless, and my mom is thrilled with her new bed and chair. The best part is they were just down the road from the delivery site, a happy coincidence. Thank you! See the review on Facebook by clicking the link below.

MS Desperado: An Update From SammyJo Wilkinson
What Happens When All Approved Therapies Fail

SammyJo hasn't been to an MSHH Support group in sometime. She is looking forward to catching up with everyone.
She will share her experiences with experimental MS therapies that she has tried over the last decade, including:

Low Dose Naltrexone LDN
Endovascular surgery for CCSVI or blocked veins
Cannabis oil
Stem cell therapy.
High dose Biotin (based on the new clinical trial showing it helps progressive MS).
The Wahls Diet (ketogenic)
Ampyra

Some therapies worked great, then quit working. Some had side effects, while many continue to help her.
If you have considered any of these approaches, learn from her experience so you can avoid mistakes.
She is determined not to let this disease get the best of her, and has dedicated herself to sharing her story of pushing the frontiers of MS medicine. Happily, she has been progression free for 1.5 years, and is able to work hard on recovering her strength, with the goal of leaving her wheelchair behind.

SammyJo is also now on the Advisory Board of a stem cell organization powered by the leading doctors in the field of regenerative medicine.
AACT stands for The Alliance for the Advancement of Cellular Therapies. This group is founded by patients and doctors who are dedicated to speeding the approval of safe, life saving stem cell therapies.

SammyJo will will present "The Patient Perspective" at the upcoming AACT conference Sept 16-18.
The conference agenda and speaker roster is available online, including many topics on MS and autoimmunity. All conference videos will be available to AACT members. Check it out, and register for your FREE Citizen/Patient membership at http://aact.co/

To people in the United States passionate about improving patient outcomes, AACT is the grassroots movement raising awareness for regenerative medicine.
