For the last Friday of April we recognize Sofia! ❤️

Sofia is a night shift CNA who is consistently recognized by residents and family members for her hard work and kindness!

Sofia loves working at Metcalfe because of her co workers and the interactions she has with residents!

Sofia says that being creative and being able to brighten up someone’s day brings her joy in life.

A fun fact about Sofia is that she loves to paint and is talented at that! She also is a foodie and loves trying new foods!

Sofia, thank you for always take care of our residents ❤️ we appreciate you!

Metcalfe Nursing and Rehab is gearing up for Nurses week May 6th-12th and Nursing Home week May 10th-16th!
We are reaching out to our community for support.
We are seeking food vendors to donate lunch to our great nurses, business to donate gifts and items that will be given out during both nurses week and nursing home week.
Monetary donations are very welcome to support our staff and residents during nursing home week!
I have been reaching out to those who are seeking local elected offices and will continue to call but if I have missed anyone please contact me on my work mobile with any questions 270-670-3200 ☺️
We are ending our celebration with a carnival on May 15th and will be inviting the community and recognizing all of our supporters on our social media page!!

And on the 3rd week of April, we introduce Lauren Hawkins, Medical Records Coordinator, for our Weekly Employee Spotlight!

Lauren is a brand new member to our team and definitely a great addition. With only a month under her belt, Lauren has exceeded our six-month goals for her! Impressive, and medical records is not an easy feat! Lauren also doesn’t hesitate to jump in and help on the floor when it’s needed for our residents.

Lauren says she loves the people here at Metcalfe and is happy to be back in her hometown with familiar faces. Lauren’s children bring her joy and happiness in life. Lauren also says what she loves most about this facility is the friendly work environment! That definitely shows in her work ethic.

Lauren, we thank you for all you do for our residents and staff! ❤️

Another week another employee spotlight at Metcalfe Nursing and Rehab!

This week we recognize Tammy Rhinehart! Tammy is dedicated, hard working and give her all to this building. For that, we are so grateful to have her! I don’t think anyone on our team can put into words how lucky we are to have her!

Tammy loves working here for her residents, and they absolutely love her! In Tammy’s free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family! If Tammy had 5 million dollars she says she would probably spend it all on her family and helping those in need!
