Looking for opportunities to teach your kids about safety both inside the house and out? Camp 911 is the perfect opportunity. Created for kids ages 9-11, Camp 911 will host two sessions--June 23 in Gypsum and July 7 in Edwards--and will provide attendees with practical knowledge of how to act in an emergency. Come meet paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, Sheriff’s deputies, mountain rescuers and others to learn from the pros. Space is limited; cost is $10 per child and registration is required.

Pride Month promotes self-affirmation, dignity, equality and increased visibility of the LGBTQ+ community.
As the White House Proclamation on Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Q***r Pride Month, 2021 says "we recognize the resilience and determination of the many individuals who are fighting to live freely".
El Mes del Orgullo promueve la autoafirmación, la dignidad, la igualdad y una mayor visibilidad de la comunidad LGBTQ +.

CMM's Victim First Care program provides services for those who have experienced Sexual Assault, IPV/Domestic Violence, Strangulation, Elderly Violence with or without sexual contact, IPV for incidents of human trafficking, Assault in captivity.

❗️TRAVEL ALERT | ROAD OPEN – I-70 Eastbound Glenwood Canyon❗️

⚠️ UPDATE - 1:49 a.m. (5/29/2021) - I-70 Eastbound is OPEN.

⚠️UPDATE - 3:15 p.m. (5/28) - Westbound lanes are open. Eastbound lanes continue to be closed, please see below for detour route.

⚠️UPDATE - 1:30 p.m. (5/28) - Due to an extended closure, *eastbound* motorists on are advised to take the northern alternate route if traveling eastbound between Rifle and Eagle County, Summit County or the Denver metro area. Motorists should anticipate delays on the alternate route due to additional detour traffic. Westbound I-70 is closed at this time but the closure is expected to be shorter than for eastbound.

RECOMMENDED ALTERNATE ROUTE FOR EASTBOUND TRAVELERS:
Motorists traveling eastbound on I-70 can reach the Denver Metro area by turning north from I-70 onto Colorado Highway 13 at Rifle (Exit 90). Travel north on CO 13 to Craig, then turn east on US Highway 40 towards Kremmling. In Kremmling, motorists should head south on Colorado Highway 9 towards Silverthorne. In Silverthorne, motorists can rejoin eastbound I-70.
Before detouring onto any alternate route, motorists should refer to www.cotrip.org for the latest road conditions. CDOT strongly discourages travelers from using highways south of I-70 for an alternate route, due to extensive construction closures. CDOT also asks that motorists not use Cottonwood Pass Road (in Eagle/Garfield counties), Hagerman Pass, Eagle/Thomasville Road or other county or forest service roads in Eagle, Garfield and Pitkin counties as a detour. These roads are not built for heavy traffic or commercial oversize vehicles. Many of these four-wheel drive roads also do not have cell phone coverage.

🚫 I-70 is CLOSED in Glenwood Canyon 🚫 - 12:30 p.m. (5/28) - is closed in both directions in Glenwood Canyon due to a major rollover crash in the eastbound lanes. Updates will continue to be posted to cotrip.org.
