Vail Health’s Shaw at Home is a community-based palliative care program for patients receiving treatment at Shaw Cancer Center. To date, the program has served 144 patients, ages 24 to 91, through nearly 1,600 visits. For its outstanding work, Shaw received the 2025 Association of Cancer Care Centers "Innovator Award" for the Shaw at Home program.

We typically do this on March 14th (Pie Day), but better late than never. We had 9 entries and a lot of volunteer judges. This year's winner was, once again, Kelly Milam's Apple Pie, followed closely by Kim Sharkey's Triple Citrus Creamsicle Pie, otherwise known as "Lemon Citrusy Thing."
