What is deep TMS?

Deep transcranial magnetic stimulation (dTMS) is best described as an interventional psychiatric procedure that uses targeted electromagnetic pulses to stimulate dormant neurons in targeted brain areas involved in mood disorders and impulse control. Restoring these connections supports the brain’s ability to self-regulate and return to a state of balance.

Deep TMS is FDA-cleared for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and smoking cessation. It is a non-invasive, medication-free option that can be especially helpful for individuals who haven’t found relief through traditional treatments. Off-label indications also include insomnia, PTSD, and addiction.

Last month, we were honored to have a meaningful conversation in the Inside Business Today studio with hosts Giuliana and Bill Rancic. APN's founder and CEO, Noah Nordheimer, shared why our whole-person approach to mental health, addiction recovery, and wellness matters now more than ever.

At APN, healing isn’t one-dimensional – we combine therapy, innovative treatments, and holistic support to nurture mind, body, and soul. It's care that meets people where they are and stays with them for the long journey ahead.

Just last week, we welcomed the IBT production crew to both the Lodge in Edwards, Colorado, and our Dallas-Fort Worth location, where they captured a glimpse of what makes APN so special.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this possible: to the two DFW alumni who courageously shared their experiences, to our incredible APN staff at both locations, to the IBT production and in-studio teams, and to Giuliana and Bill for helping us tell the APN story with such authenticity and heart.

Meet Lila: a bright and dedicated presence on our Care Coordination team at All Points North Lodge. Lila brings curiosity, compassion, and a genuine passion for helping others to APN.

Currently a student at Northeastern University studying Psychology and Astrophysics, Lila joined APN this summer through her co-op program. Since then, she’s immersed herself in the Behavioral Health field, gaining hands-on experience, meaningful education, and a clearer sense of purpose.

Lila's APN colleagues and the clients she supports have played a significant role in shaping her career path, reinforcing her long-term commitment to pursuing a career in Behavioral Health. She says, "It has been an unbelievable joy and an incredible experience to work with the APN organization."

Say hello to Scott Daniel, one of our primary therapists at APN Lodge!

Scott started his career in wilderness therapy, where he discovered the power of nature, movement, and mindful challenge. In the summer, he leads our somatic mind–body slacklining group, helping clients build regulation, presence, and resilience. In the winter, you’ll find him splitboarding in the backcountry with his dog.

Trained under an Integrative Trauma Therapist, Scott blends evidence-based trauma care with deep respect for each client’s unique journey. His favorite book, "The Alchemist," mirrors his belief in personal transformation.

Scott is passionate about helping clients move toward self-actualization through peak experiences, emotional insight, and embodied learning.

Meet Hannah: our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and one of the compassionate experts supporting clients at APN Lodge. Hannah's approach to nutrition blends warmth, expertise, and a deep commitment to whole-person wellness.

This December marks Hannah's one-year anniversary with APN. She recently completed her graduate degree in Sustainable Food Systems, with research centered on strengthening local food distribution for small farms in Boulder County.

When she’s not in the kitchen or collaborating with clients, you’ll likely find Hannah outdoors with her family – skiing, running, or hiking through Colorado’s beautiful landscapes.

Hannah is happy to help support clients by empowering them to nourish their bodies throughout treatment and well into recovery.
