✨ Meet the Instructor: Owner Edition ✨
Stephanie Manning
💼 How has owning a business positively changed your life?
“ Owning a business has been such an exciting and rewarding opportunity! I’ve owned the studio for 10 years now and it has taught me to trust my instincts, pour into my teachers, and keep improving.”
🌿 Favorite way to reset after a long day of teaching?
Going for a walk, a bike ride, or playing pickleball with her kids. Most nights are filled with practices and games, but she loves getting outside and moving together with her family. 🎾
☕ Coffee order?
Iced honey oat milk latte, light on the honey. 1929 does it best. ☕
Outside the studio, Stephanie and her family love being outdoors. This summer, If they’re not at a game, you’ll probably find them boating or surfing.
💛 The most rewarding part about building something that is yours?
“The most rewarding part about building something that is mine, is sharing it! I don’t view the studio as “mine” I view it as “ours”. That includes all the teachers, front desk staff, and clients! I cannot do all of those jobs myself (although 10 years ago, that is how I started out!). The studio is such a happy and calming place for me and I want to share that with our teachers and clients. The wonderful teachers we have here at the studio is also what makes the studio a calming and happy place for me, so the two go hand-in-hand. On top of that, my passion is to help people move and feel better through the Pilates Method, and that is the thread that shapes all our decisions here at the Pilates Barre Studio! It is even in our motto, “Build Strength, Find Balance, Feel Better!”. My hope is that all clients who walk through our doors feel that we are truly here to support them where they are and help them move and feel better! We want to continue to be a long standing business in the community and support our community with what they need!”
