🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans at The Glenwood 🇺🇸

Today, we proudly recognized the 12 veterans who call The Glenwood home. Our lunch and program were filled with gratitude and pride as we honored each of their incredible sacrifices and service to our great country.

Our heroes enjoyed a delicious meal of pork chops, baked potatoes, and corn on the cob, followed by a heartfelt ceremony. Each veteran received a personalized placard with their service dates, and together we recited the Pledge of Allegiance and sang the National Anthem in their honor. ❤️💙

We are forever thankful for the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of our veterans who have helped keep our nation free. 🇺🇸

🎃👻 Trick-or-Treat Fun at The Glenwood of Effingham! 👻🎃

We had such a spooktacular time last night at our big Trick-or-Treat event! A huge thank you to everyone who brought their little ghosts and goblins out to visit us — your smiles and costumes truly made our night. 🧡

We also want to send a special shoutout to our amazing staff, families, and friends who helped make the event possible. From decorating to handing out candy (and lots of it! 🍬), you all helped create such a fun and festive evening.

And of course, a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful Effingham community for coming out and celebrating with us — we love seeing our halls filled with laughter and happy faces! 🕸️✨

🍦🎃 Spooky Ice Cream Social Fun! 🎃🍦
We had such a great turnout for our Ice Cream Social here at The Glenwood Assisted Living of Effingham! Residents and guests enjoyed “spooky” ice cream complete with Halloween sprinkles and all the best toppings. 👻🍫🍬

It was a sweet time filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of spooky fun! Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a special afternoon. 💜🕸️

🎃🐻 It’s been a “hunny” of a day! 🍯
The Glenwood Assisted Living of Effingham had a spook-tacular time participating in the Effingham Halloween Parade today! Our crew brought the Hundred Acre Wood to life, dressing up as Winnie the Pooh and friends. 🐯🐷🐰

We had so much fun seeing all the smiling faces along the parade route — it was such a great day full of laughter, costumes, and community spirit. 💛🎃
