On Monday, we had our Christmas Celebration with our residents and their loved ones! Santa and the Grinch stopped by, and everyone enjoyed playing bingo with the Grinch along with a cozy hot cocoa bar. 🎅🏻💚🎄

Blessed is truly an understatement. Our hearts are so full, and we are beyond grateful to everyone who made this special day possible. Watching the joy on everyone’s faces as gifts were opened and sharing cookies together made this afternoon incredibly meaningful. These moments of laughter, smiles, and togetherness are what the holiday season is all about. Thank you to each person who gave their time, generosity, and love to make this day so special. Days like this remind us how fortunate we are and how strong our community truly is. These memories will be cherished forever. 🌲🎅🏻

We had another wonderful visit from Rachel the Comfort Dog this morning, and she brought smiles to everyone she visited. We’re already looking forward to her next visit! 🐾🦴

We’ve been having all the Christmas fun at Effingham Healthcare and Senior Living! Our residents have had a blast with all the holiday crafts and games, which include snow tie dye, snowball toss, scoop the snowballs, candy cane tasting, and yarn hat ornaments. The joy and laughter have truly made this season even brighter! 🎄✨

Today was the last day for the Lake Land College Nursing Students to complete their clinicals at Effingham Healthcare and Senior Living. We truly enjoyed having the opportunity to help them grow, learn, and love on our wonderful residents.

We also wanted to share the cutest baskets they made for our residents, such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture!

Thank you all for everything you did for our residents and for us. We wish you all the best of luck moving forward, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome the next class here for their clinicals.

It’s Christmas time at Effingham Healthcare and Senior Living! 🎄 ❤️

Our residents have been enjoying creating the cutest Christmas tree decorations with Momma Kate, and Madisyn also set up a beautiful holiday backdrop for photos. ✨🎅🏻

The residents loved it, and our staff enjoyed it just as much. ☃️

We had a wonderful turnout for our Thanksgiving Dinner, and we want to extend our sincere gratitude to all the family and friends who joined us. It may seem like a small gesture, but days like this mean the world to our residents. Your presence brings them comfort, joy, and a sense of connection that cannot be measured.

Our team spent the majority of the day preparing and ensuring every detail was just right, and the kindness, compliments, and appreciation we received made all the effort worthwhile.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our kitchen staff and CNA’s for preparing the meal and helping our residents get dressed and ready for the event. Also, a special thank you to Momma Kate for her wonderful hors d’oeuvres. Your dedication is truly appreciated.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this day so meaningful and memorable. 🧡
